What is unleashed?
Unleashed is a youth event run at Christchurch Baptist, Welwyn Garden City. The principle which is included in the logo is 'The truth will free you,' and we see this as an excellent opportunity to reach out to young people who don't know God personally.
After seeing many events from around the country we started and held the very first Unleashed on the 31st May 2003.
The event happens every 3 months, is populated by the youth group here plus other youth groups from the locality and at the moment we are wildly, enthusiastically inviting many other youth groups and friends. It is an opportunity for young people to worship God in their own way in a comfortable, informal setting.

What happens at unleashed?
Worship, ice breaking games, and a short youth related talk or video is included in the event. It is known as the 'Youth event, by the youth, for the youth, inspiring youth to worship.' This is shown with the bulk of the set-up, technical aspects, speaking, sound etc. done by the youth. The main learning point we feel is that our God is amazing and that we should not be ashamed in any way to tell the world about our amazing God.
The event continues to improve greatly and we are encouraged by what God has done and will do and the people that we can connect with and share God's word with.

The unleashed band are energetic, enthusiastic and loud! They play some rocking worship songs in a party atmosphere, complete with lighting and smoke.

Where is unleashed?
unleashed is usually held at Christchurch (Baptist), however some events are held 'on the road' in different churches around Hertfordshire.
